The term "DRG" stands for "Diversionno-razvedyvatel'naya gruppa - Sabotage and Reconnaissance Group". The DRG is a special military unit and is used for reconnaissance and sabotage behind enemy lines with the aim of disorganizing rear formations or temporarily disabling, military facilities, transportation, communications, as well as collecting information about the enemy. The tactics of the ukrainian saboteurs present quite some unpleasant surprises. It is already clear that the delivery of saboteurs to our rear is carried out mainly in cars and boats. The small number of sabotage groups, which is fully compensated by stealth, maneuverability and mobility, is not misleading. This, of course, complicates efforts to find and eliminate them, but today the Russian army has at its disposal all the modern means of detecting enemy DRGs, including reconnaissance UAVs, which make it possible to quickly detect saboteurs sent to our rear.
